Coming Soon- Daily Comics

One of the main reasons I started this comic was so I could document parts of my daily life that I would otherwise forget. The problem is that producing a full-color comic takes me a long time, and Iíve been slowing down lately. So, to get reenergized Iíve decided to give myself a little experiment/challenge. I am going to document something (or some things), from each day of my life, in comic form, for the next 30 days (starting yesterday). So whereís the new strip you ask? Well, let me explain the rules before I get to that:

1. One comic per day, and only one comic per day. Even if I have one really exciting day followed by a boring day, I still gotta figure out something from the boring day to make into a comic.

2. I have to draw everything by hand, no Photoshop touchups or layout changes. For my color comic I would draw very little by hand, then scan it and make some changes, copy and paste. For this experiment Iím going to get everything on paper, then just scan it and upload it. (This being said, I reserve the right re-do the lettering on the computer, weíll see how lettering by hand works out.)

3. I have until Friday of each week to actually draw the comics. This will give me a few buffer days for when my schedule is busy. But rule #1 still applies; the content of each comic will be from different days.

SoÖ I think thatís it. If I think of any other rules Iíll post it under this entry. I actually started the challenge yesterday (May 22nd), but Iím not going to post it Ďtill later in the week. But once the first daily comic is up, there should be a new, hand drawn comic every single day (including Saturday and Sunday) for the next 30 days. Assuming Iím up for the challenge.

Wish me luck.

P.S. If you like this sort of thing youíll like the The Daily Grind Iron Man Challenge
